Experts By Experience Project Coordinator

Reports to:     Head of Health & Protection Unit

Location:         Athens

Duration:        Full Time/Open ended contract

MSF MISSION

POSITION OBJECTIVES

Act as a coordinator of the Experts by Experience (EBE) project and ensure proper and on time implementation of the projects’ work plan, activities, and deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

  • Liaise and collaborate with partners and stakeholders related to the project within & outside MSF
  • Construct, review and closely monitor the project work plan and all project activities (EBE Groups Activities, Regular Meetings, Training etc)
  • Train peer educators, project officers or other engaged staff as to perform project activities
  • Organize and closely monitors organization of relevant events
  • Overview and monitor the financial aspect of the project as budget holder and user: planning and monitoring budget and relevant adaptations
  • Create and /or coordinate the creation (together with the EBE Team) of the project tools, processes and materials needed reporting
  • Promote project achievements visibility and regularly present outcomes
  • Prepare EBE Global Reports monthly and within the Project Cycle (3 Months/6 Months/ Annually) for the project activities

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in humanitarian sciences)
  • At least 4 years of experience in related coordinating positions, particularly with key population or vulnerable groups
  • Significant experience of working with civil society organizations, networks and social movements with a strong focus on partnership building
  • Experience in organizing and facilitating events, workshops, meetings (online & offline)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programs
  • Fluency in English and Greek both oral and written. French is desirable
  • Working with peers’ experience or similar project experience is a clear added value
  • MSF working experience particularly in coordination or Advocacy Related field is an added value

POST CONDITIONS

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Greece (work permit, tax & social security numbers) as local hired staff
  • Position based in Athens MSF HQ/Hybrid working conditions (3/2)
  • Annual gross salary: based on MSF Salary Grid
  • Private health insurance
