Job Title:         Recruiter & Career Manager

Report to:       Human Resources Director

Location:         Athens

Duration:        Full Time/Fixed Term Contract (up to 31.12.2024 with possibility of extension)

POSITION OBJECTIVES

Manage the recruitment process of International field staff under MSF GR institutional coordination and responsible for the professional growth and career development of the International Staff, following the needs of the operation centers and MSF HR global vision.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

  • Identify and analyze the operational needs of MSF operational centers and participate in the design of the recruitment strategy of the HR annual plan of MSF Greece. Propose and implement recruitment activities to attract qualified profiles to fulfill the needs and for the growth of the regional pool
  • Analyze the labor market in the geographical area of her/his competencies and detect possible recruitment resources such as medical associations, universities etc. to target the suitable profiles for MSF operational needs. Maintain broad networking channels
  • Organize and facilitate internal and external HR events and presentations and plan active recruitment activities (informative sessions, webinars, etc.) to build awareness and target interested audience. In collaboration with the Communication department, design and manage online events, social media and relevant HR campaigns
  • Prepare and guarantee the publication and dissemination of the vacancies in the internal and external channels of the country
  • Select International staff to contribute to the MSF global workforce, in accordance with MSF recruitment procedure
  • Advise, direct and contribute to the professional development and the career path of the pool members, following guidelines and procedures of MSF HR principles, and learning and development opportunities. Provide career directions and advices according to their skills, experience and fulfillment of objectives within roles

 

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, or related studies
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in recruitment or managerial position
  • Excellent command of English (oral and written)
  • French will be considered an asset
  • Good command of IT tools (excel, word, power point)
  • Desirable experience with MSF or other international NGOs
  • ERP SFSF system knowledge desirable

POST CONDITIONS

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Greece (work permit, tax & social security numbers) as local hired staff
  • Position based in Athens MSF HQ/Hybrid working conditions (3/2)
  • Annual gross salary: based on MSF Salary Grid
  •  Private health insurance
