The needs of people suffering for armed conflicts make the presence of surgical teams essential. Surgeons participate in projects, which usually last six weeks to three months.

Ability to perform wide range of surgical procedures, including Paediatrics and Caesarean sections.
Ability to work with limited resources
Six weeks’ minimum availability
Fluency in English
Acceptance of living and working conditions in unstable areas
Adaptability and willingness for teamwork
Flexibility and stress management

Some experience in trauma care and orthopaedics is desirable
