Medical doctors are in charge of patients’ medical care, supervision and training of national staff, planning of medical activities and networking with local medical actors. Furthermore, they are involved in the planning of medical activities, data collection and other medical activities.  Medical doctors can be assigned to different projects and contexts, such as primary and secondary health care facilities, epidemics, natural disasters and armed conflicts.
